Day one: Welcome to Djibouti

Capital ou Atlantic Hotel

Up on arrival, a car will be waiting for you at the station to start your stay in Djibouti. You will go directly to your hotel located in the city center near the Menelik crossroads.

After refreshing and resting at the hotel, around 5 pm you will commence on a tour to see in the capital of Djibouti.

Visit to The Notre-Dame du Bon-Pasteur de Djibouti Cathedral, erected in the middle of the 20th century. It is the main Catholic church of the Diocese of Djibouti and the seat of the bishopric.

In the evening, welcome dinner at the fishing port with menus of local specialties and traditional music.

Day Two: Departure to Tadjoura

Lac Asal: An idyllic landscape where the pale green of the lake, the immaculate plank of salt and the blue sky intermingle like a poem frozen in time for centuries. Lake Asal is 157 meters below sea level, containing the highest salinity (348 g / l), salt floes of 65 km2 and hot springs.

Ardoukoba Volcano: located on a very active ocean ridge: the lithospheric cracks visible to the eye open at an average speed of 3cm per year.

El Goubeth: an impressive dome that arose in the middle of the bay during the tectonic movements associated with the formation of the Rift Assal. The Goubeth Al karab is a beautiful and disturbing cove dominated by Devil's Island, accessible by the road which dominates it or by boat, the site is of exceptional beauty.

Visit Tadjoura by night: We will take a tour to meet the local people and have dinner at a local restaurant in Tadjourah .

Day Three: Sable Blanc

Sables Blancs is located on a long white sand beach 5 km from the White City on the edge of the Tadjourah Golf Course. It offers you a comfortable and warm welcome on the hotel side or the straw hut side in a relaxed and sunny atmosphere.

A paradisiacal seabed awaits you, and with a simple mask and snorkel, you will discover the multicolored corals and the drop off offering an astonishing marine diversity worthy of the great diving sites.

A day of swimming, with the possibility of snorkeling with a spectacular flora of varieties of fish by the beach with fine sands and turquoise water.

Fishing, kayaking or riding on the back of a camel for lovers of adventures, with respect to the Djiboutian cultures.

Day Four: Musha Island

The island is only 35 minutes from the capital. Going by speedboat, we undoubtedly have the opportunity to afford a very nice sea excursion from the city. In addition to beautiful fine sandy beaches, these rocky islets are home to surprising mangroves, mangrove forests that plunge their long roots into salty waters.

They also hide an unsuspected fauna in Djibouti: numerous birds such as pelicans and egrets; this also concerns mongooses, crabs, sea urchins, not to mention unquantifiable fish! Some of these species are endemic, notably the white iris gull.

Day Five: Djibouti City

A beautiful day of remembrance in the capital with site visits for souvenirs, crafts and shopping and relaxation.

The SPA of Kimpinski Palace: Where the waters of the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean meet, an oasis of tranquility. This experience allows you to harmonize your well-being and let yourself be carried away by the wisdom of nature.

Le Zoo Degan: The well-organized Decan Wildlife Refuge is about 10 km south of Djibouti City (in Douda, on the Somaliland route), an easy two-to-three-hours excursion from the capital.

Bawadi Mall: The temple of consumption and leisure. Housing a hypermarket, jewelry stores, banks, pharmacy, a cinema, restaurants, cafes ...

At the end of the tour, a car will drop you off at the airport with a memorable return from Djibouti
